The AI Companion panel in Zoom Workplace provides users with a personal assistant within the Zoom Workplace app. With the AI Companion diamond in Zoom Workplace, users will be able to open a panel where they can ask questions and receive tailored responses sourced from different data sources and contexts available to the user.
Important Privacy and Security Notice
The AI Companion panel is prominently displayed in the Zoom Workplace desktop app’s Home tab.

Sign in to the Zoom Workplace desktop app.

Click the Home tab.

In the AI Companion panel on the right, you can:

In the text box, enter keywords, phrases, or sentences, then click the send icon. Learn more about formatting your AI Companion prompt.

Click one of the suggested prompts such as "What meetings do I have today" or "What are some meeting icebreakers".

Click the attach file icon to choose a file for AI Companion to improve results. For example, you can ask AI Companion to summarize the selected file.

Enter / in the text box, then select your preferred data source, such as a knowledge collection. Learn more about adding content as a data source.

Click the pop-out icon to detach the panel in order to use it simultaneously with other products in the Zoom Workplace app.

Click the history icon to view a historical record of your past conversations within the AI Companion panel.

Click the new conversation icon to start a new conversation.

When you're ready to send a message, click the send icon.
AI Companion will analyze your prompt and respond. AI Companion responses will vary depending on prompt, product settings, and available configured data sources.
