Step 1 - Identify the Problem
Note: Make sure the projector is turned on before proceeding.
If the desktop is presenting only a wallpaper upon first glance, a mirror issue is very likely.
To ensure this is the case, inspect the projector image. If the login input fields appear on the projection image and not the computer, it must be a mirror issue with the projector.

Step 2 - Troubleshooting
Using keyboard shortcuts
Occasionally, the following keyboard commands will allow you to resolve the issue. You can try pressing the following keys together:
“ Cmd ” + “ F1 ”
Using Projector Screen to Log in
If the previous solution yields no results, you can adjust the settings once logged into the computer. Using the projector screen, you may input your New School credentials as normal, then press “Enter.”
Once Logged in, you can use the mouse to navigate to the upper right corner of the screen, click on the purple icon, then click on “change.” Then, click on the “Entire screen” option. The projection and computer should then return to normal.
Below is a visual guide on the previous set of instructions.

Note that while this article guides you through how to use the projector screen to change the settings, the reverse is also applicable. i.e., if the projection is not displaying the computer contents, you can use the video above to adjust the settings using the classroom computer.
