If you’re printing from a Windows laptop to “TNS ProColor Wireless” or “TNS Color Wireless,” your documents may come out in black and white instead of color.
To fix this, you’ll need to update your printer settings on your Windows laptop for each printer type. Follow the four steps below to make the change.
If you’d like help, you can also visit any Technology Center Lab, where our staff can assist you.
Note: The steps below show “TNS ProColor,” but the process is the same for “TNS Color.”
Fixing Windows Printer Settings
- In the Taskbar, Search ”Printers and Scanners”

- Click on "Manage" on the TNS ProColor Wireless option

- Choose "TNS ProColor Wireless" in the drop down menu, then click "Printer properties”

- Click on Device Settings > Installable Options > Device Type > Change from "Auto Detect" to "Color"
