Fabric Prototype Plotters

The Fabric Prototype Plotters service is provided by Learning Space Ops. The Fabric Prototype plotters have a printable width of 24 inches and can print up to 72 inches in length. See below for available fabrics, sizes and Print Point amount. 

Fabric Prototype Printing is available to Degree/Credit seeking students registered for the current academic term and faculty. 

Location 

Fabric Prototype Plotter prints are available for pick up during University Center U407 hours of operation.

Additional Information 

  • File should be submitted as .pdf (PDF format).

  • All requests for Fabric Prototype Plotter print must be submitted using the Fabric Prototype - Print Order Form at the Printing Service page (Sign in to services.newschool.edu may be required) and must meet the following criteria & guidelines.

  • Make sure the color format is CMYK.

  • Prints may be no larger than 24 inch x 72 inch (24" x 72" or 60.96cm x 182.88cm). (We cannot process custom-size requests.) 

  • File should be submitted as .pdf (PDF format).

  • File size should be less than 20MB. 

  • Please do not use "registration black". 

  • Maximum resolution is 300 dpi 

  • Your image should fit in the fabric size you have selected. If the image size does not fit into the fabric size you have selected, you will be contacted by email to review options. 

  • Please email lso@newschool.edu for assistance with submitting a request.

  • All communications with the LSO Print staff will be via email, including notice when your print is ready for pick up

  • Allow 7 days to process your request  (excluding days on which U407 is closed).

  • Pick up requires the presentation of your New Card.

  • Prints that are not picked up will be held until the end of the next semester. After that, they will be properly disposed of.
