Overview
Microsoft Office 365 is a suite of web-based applications and services, as well as a portal to download and install the Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel and Powerpoint on PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones.
With Office 365, you can easily share work using Microsoft's online version of the Office suite, along with online storage using OneDrive. Other online tools include OneNote for note taking and other applications to help create and enable collaborative working environments.

Getting Started
You can get started using New School Office 365 by logging in at portal.office.com.
Log in using your full Netid email (netid@newschool.edu) and password.
If you have a New School email alias, please use it as your NetID email address.

For students, you can use the Office 365 service until you graduate or until you are no longer enrolled at The New School. For faculty and staff, you can use the service as long as you are currently employed at The New School.

Installation of Microsoft Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs. Additionally, Office apps can be installed on up to 5 smartphones and 5 tablet devices, running either Android, Apple ios, and Windows mobile operating systems.
