For students, faculty, and staff who travel to other universities, the New School has has eduroam. Eduroam is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community that allows New School students, faculty, and staff to use the wireless networks at other member institutions all over the world. When visiting another member institution, if you see the ‘eduroam’ network name, connect to it and sign in with your New School email address (“YourNetID@newschool.edu”) and your NetID password to obtain access.
Locally, New York University (NYU) and Columbia University offer eduroam access.
Visitors to the New School campus from other eduroam member institutions can access the ‘eduroam’ network at The New School by signing in with their home institution username, including the “@institution” part (e.g., student@nyu.edu) and home institution password.
