Overview

Remote Desktop Server (RDS) provides a secure, direct, and dedicated connection to a Windows server environment hosted on-campus offering a consistent desktop experience and full access to specialized, licensed software and network drives, particularly for staff members who manage specific, resource-intensive administrative tasks.

Getting Started

To request specific Remote Desktop Server access, you must submit a VPN Access Request Form. Please complete the form and clearly indicate the specific services you require access to.

Please Note: You must complete the Information Security & Privacy training before your access can be granted.

  • If you have not completed this training within the past year, you will receive an email invitation from system@litmos.com to take the course.

  • Check your spam or junk folder if the invitation is not in your inbox.

Once your access has been approved and provisioned by IT, please follow the provided instructions to connect to the Remote Desktop Server.

  • Remote Desktop Server access is granted based on the specific requirements of your position. If you require access to an application that is not currently available to you via the Remote Desktop Server, please contact IT Central for assistance.
