Multi-factor Authentication

Overview

To keep information secure, The New School requires that all students and employees use multi-factor authentication when accessing certain university systems that may contain sensitive and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This additional layer of security ensures that even if your password information is compromised, there is a second step of verification to help prevent unauthorized account access.

NOTICE

Information Technology will be rolling out the use of multi-factor authentication on more applications over the next year. Stay updated on multi-factor authentication changes here.
